"...it bringeth forth much fruit." On March the 24th, 2001 Pastors Marty & Taryn Shirey began the journey that would become the ministry of Full Circle Pentecostal Church. Through the sacrifice of the life & death of their daughter Scotlyn, the kingdom principle of John 12:24 has come to life. There would come a great & mighty harvest of souls through the brief life of this tiny baby, this seed.

John 12:24
"Verily, Verily, I say unto you except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."
Pastor Marty & Taryn would begin this full time ministry in January of 2004, as youth pastors at Faith Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Over the next 3 years they would see their youth group flourish from approximately 30 youth to nearly 100 at the conclusion of their ministry in Faith. Working with these young people would seem to cause their burden for the people of the Pottawatomie County area to grow even stronger.
After sharing their ministry vision with Pastor Terry Bates for the Shawnee region, they left with their Senior Pastors approval to begin the work of a church plant. Through God's favor and the generosity and partnership of Pastors Terry & Robin Bates along with the congregation of Faith Church, Marty and Taryn began holding meetings in Shawnee February 4th of 2007 and held their grand opening services on Easter Sunday of that same year. Since that time Full Circle has purchased and began the remodel of our building at 130 S. Oklahoma Ave. with a congregation of nearly 100 people.
Isaiah 58:12 says that "we shall build the old waste places, raise up the foundations of many generations, we shall be called the repairer of the breach, restorer of paths to dwell in." Jeremiah 1:11 talks of a branch/rod of an almond tree, a tree that flourishes while all others have yet to shake the slumber of the winter season. These two passages, along with John 12:24, are the heartbeat and pulse of this New Testament Church.
In a day where there is such hopelessness, loss and destruction and where even the very name of Jesus Christ is grounds for war in many nations, Marty and Taryn relentlessly seek to see devastated lives come to truly know Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and experience the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the bible evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2: 1-4). They desire to lead people into an intimacy with Jesus and teach them how to use God's Word, which is alive and applicable to their daily lives, in joy and in sorrow.
Full Circle Pentecostal Church is a growing, thriving congregation. FC is filled with individuals from every walk of life and diverse life experiences (Matthew 13:47, 48). Marty, Taryn and the Full Circle Congregation are raising warriors who are being trained to be ministers of the Gospel in their own daily lives and in turn, they are going out and making disciples of Christ themselves!
